Bookmark bear

Hello lovely people,

I hope you all enjoyed yourselves over the bank holiday weekend and wasn't it fab to have some sunshine?  I did loads of gardening which did cut into my crafting time but I can't really complain about that can I?

Anyhoo, it's challenge day over at Lili's Little Fairies and this week it is time for something a little bit different as our theme is 'Anything but a Card.'  I decided to make a corner bookmark and think I will be keeping this one for my own use!

This is the first time I have used one of these cute mini stamps from LOTV and it is the perfect size for a bookmark.  I coloured it with Copics, cut it out with a Nestie then layered it onto a scalloped circle cut with my Cricut.
Here is a shot to show the bookmark 'in action' (on a Sherlock Holmes book in case anyone is wondering!);
Card recipe;
DP: Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics
Lace: from The Ribbon Girl
Fancy edge: Martha Stewart edge punch

Copic colours;
Bear: E42/43/44 + R30 for ears
Flower: BV00/01/02

The rest of the Fairies have created some fab projects that aren't cards so do pop over to Lili's Little Fairies to take a look.  We have Crafty Ribbons sponsoring us this week so the lucky winner of our challenge will have loads of beautiful ribbons and more to choose from!

Thanks for visiting,

Hugs,
Kat xx
