Little ballerina

Hello lovely people,

Yesterday I had a crafty day with my Mum which was really lovely but we may have spent more time chatting than crafting - lol!

Today we have a new challenge for you at In The Pink and our theme is...

CHILD'S PLAY

So, we want to see your creations for a child, and don't forget to use more pink than any other colour!

This card is chock full of some of my favourite card making items including my absolute fave swirl die of the moment - are you sick of it yet?!
The DP is also one of my faves, in fact I had to buy some more recently because I love it so much and had run out!

I am also really enjoying using the more 3D flowers right now but don't have many so I think that calls for a little shopping trip don't you?!

Aw, isn't this little ballerina such a sweetie and so pretty in pink, dancing in all the Frantage!

Card recipe;
DP: Crea Diem - Maja Designs
Frantage: Shabby white - Stampendous - from Live and Love Crafts
Dies: Leaf and swirl - Magnolia DooHickey

Copic colours;
Skin: E0000/50/000/51/21
Hair: E21/23/57/59
Ballet dress / shoes: R81/83/56
Stars: YR30/Y21/23
Ground: T0/1/2/3/4

If you pop over to In The Pink you can check out the wonderfully cute creations from the rest of the Pink Ladies.

I still have a lot of special crafting projects to make including a 70th birthday card for my aunt-in-law; we are celebrating with all the family this weekend. Thank goodness for a day off today!

Thanks for visiting and I really appreciate any comments that you leave,

Hugs,
Kat xx

Challenges I am entering;
1.  Papertake Weekly (for Mum or a girlie)
2.  A Gem of a Challenge (Mother's Day/special lady/female birthday)

  1. Such a gorgeous little ballerina Kat - and again, you've put a stunner of a card around her!! Yes, I'm loving that swirl, so much so that I must get mine out for use! And your layout... it's fab... with the little delicate touch of frantage too.

    I have a big box full of flowers, but never manage to use any... I can never decide HOW to use them, then they just get shoved back into the box and back into the cupboard!

    Big hugs
    Christine x

  13. Like Christine, I have masses of blimmin' flowers, but I'm not good at arranging them so they rarely get used. Yours look very pretty, and I love this sweet image... a gorgeous card hun :o) Hugs, Lisa x

  15. Love your coloring on this image and the card itself, Kat. I've seen so many flowers on cards, I've resorted to buying a few dies in hopes of making my own. Thanks for the sweet comment you left on my blog and the suggestion of Neena Solar White for Copics. I'll have to try it. I'm happy to have found your blog and am your newest follower. Cathy
